Video(s) for Today: Lords of Salem/American Witch (animated)

Today's vids are two of my favorites! These were created for Rob Zombie's tour by monster artist Dave Hartman. While the "American Witch" video was created first, the "Lords of Salem" piece was intended as a prequel of sorts, so I'm placing them in that order here. Two really great clips that truly convey the feel of their respective songs:

As I said in the previous post: hey cool you are blogging again! I guess it is August and it is getting closer to Autumn and Halloween. As a child, August was the month when I started thinking of Halloween to forget about the new school year and the end of holidays. Even older, we played Call of Chtulhu RPG mostly during August, on rainy days.

Thrilled to see you're back haunting these halls! Thanks for posting these vids -- absolutely love David Hartman, and Mr. Zombie isn't too bad either. ;)

Guillaume: Yeah, I generally think about Halloween non-stop, year 'round...but August is certainly when I get obsessed! In reality, I just haven't had a whole lot of time to blog lately, but this week I had some down time, so I figured I'd take advantage of it!

Trix: Yes! Hartman completely ROCKS, and pairing him with Rob Zombie is a match made in Halloween Heaven!!!
Those were great! I need to view all my horror movies in cartoon form. I can handle all the gore much better that way...ha! His artwork is fab...especially love all his monsters. Thanks for sharing those! :o)

is it weird that the only part of those that actually disturbed me was the dancing creepy cartoon cat? lol.
I haven't listened to Rob Zombie in so long I hadn't even heard those songs yet, so off to the music store I go. Thanks =).

Wens: Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah...his artwork is da beez kneez!

Traveler: Happy I introduced you to some new tunes! Both of those numbers are off the "Educated Horses" CD from 2006. His latest, "Hellbilly Deluxe 2", is also quite good...although you might want to hold out on buying that one, as a special edition is in the works to be released in September. It's supposed to have several bonus tracks, as well as longer versions of some of the songs.
