The History of the Haunted Mansion

Saw this on Eric Pigor's (of Toxic Toons fame) Facebook page. A really fascinating history of my hands-down favorite ride at the Disney Parks. In many ways, going to the Haunted Mansion as a kid was one of the events that jumped-started my love of all things spooky.

Ditto Gill-man. I feel like that is my second home. Been there a bunch of times and never get tired of it!

I'm with ya! I'm going back to Orlando this summer, and I cannot wait to go through the Mansion!

I love in this video how Walt talks about collecting 999 "real ghosts" from all over the world! I like to think he haunts it now as well, making him ghost #1000!

Awesome vid ! I always wanted to go ! It's in my bucket list ! My parents were there many years ago and they loved it ! Horror to me it's just like a big 6 pack of Red Bull followed by a ride on a Ferrari... a full dose of adrenaline !

Glad you enjoyed it! Yes, I agree. Horror always makes me happy! Perhaps that's an ironic statement, but it's true!
